Dante never had it so good when writing his "Inferno", but this Faustian bid for attention does come with some often distracting errors to the reader. Like, not using a capital "C" when referring to Catholicism changes the meaning from a religious institution to just something meaning universal. Or, third person plural is spelled differently. Or, erratic spacing. But, at the end of the day this story does read well and the writer deserves a congratulatory pat for talent in execution. (8/10)

This was a tough read because of all the extraneous information provided as background and the less than perfect proof reading that continually broke my concentration as I tried to follow what was going on in this epic. The writing style is a bit florid for my tastes. The presentation of Majesty reminded me of Botticelli's Birth of Venus, as she springs full blown from the author's fertile imagination. The detailed description of the hierarchy doesn't add much to the story, unless this is only a brief chapter of a much larger work, which is a definite possibility based on the ending of this section. The plot is certainly nothing to write home about, it's been done and redone many, many times. On the plus side, there is plenty of weird and wonderful goings-on in this fantasy which I thoroughly enjoyed. My rating at this point assumes that this is a stand alone story. If this is not the case, I most certainly will reevaluate my score. (7/10)
