The best in erotic vampire reading! The "vanilla" library offers Laurell K. Hamilton, who does write a fun, vampy read. But oh, what a wonderful treasure the BDSM Library has in Ruby Bloodstone! More, more more...please?!? (10/10)

i am so enjoying your vampires stories. i have alwasy thought that vampires were sexy and your stories have just enhanced my dark little fantasies about them.

i also like vampire stories and always wondered what it would be like to serve a Dom who was a vampire.and this story gave me an idea of what it would be like. (10/10)

- Hi Masters_lilone, thank you for your comment. This particular bad boy dom, Ivan, isn't always doing my favorite things, but he does get the motor running. Some of the other vampires in the book are much better examples of SS&C doms.

Always being fond of passionate vampire stories, I found these completely captivating, leaving me wanton...no I believe this is wanting more, both!
I can't wait to read the whole book. I wouldn't describe chapter 17 as "weaker", but more an introduction to a new chapter and introduction to a new slave in the story. There was a small mental "missing" or gap for chapter 17, but to be expected for one does not normally skip chapters in a book...especially 10. So compelling Ruby, I loved it! You are blessed with such devoted writing and whirling imagination! (10/10)

Am hoping book 2 is available soon. I set a deadline for myself that it would be ready by July 2005, but that month has come and gone.

If you want vampires, torture, love, gallantry and hot HOT sex, then read Blood and Betrayal. I was completely ensnared from the start, reading the history of the characters and the families, setting the scene delightfully. I fell in lust within the first couple of paragraphs, and that lust has developed into a deep love for the characters. Ruby Bloodstone has a way of making them so completely real, and her settings are breathtakingly stunning. Oh, and ladies, a word of advice. Stock up on the batteries. I wore my vibe out in a couple of chapters! (10/10)

I've never tried reading vampire fiction before, but these excerpts really grabbed me and pulled me into the story. Description of scenes is excellent and I can empathize with the characters. Really enjoyed the story, hope to see more! (10/10)

I'm not really a Vampire fan, but this is excellent, capturing the erotic/dominant side of the mythology perfectly. Part 17 was a little weaker than the other two; less feeling of connection to outside events. (10/10)

- Thanks and good point. Perhaps I should have introduced each chapter? For those of you reading this review - Vixen is the new slave that Ivan was "going to" acquire in chapter 7.

I found the story very hard to put down. The storyline and the characters immediately captured me. Your character development was very well thought out. I can’t wait to see if Ivan stays the bad guy or if his heart will be awakened. (10/10)
