I have to admit that I am a big fan of Allene. Her combination of realistic, job-related, semi-consensual, sado-masochism rings my chimes. Frankly I must confess that a good deal of my writing is modeled after hers. Frankly I am surprised that her work is not more widely read and reviewed.
