Quite interesting. Well written. Very strong violence/abuse theme, which isn't really my thing - but well described. Descriptions of movement are fairly fluid, and the characters and action seem realistic and believable. Very much worth reading if you like short stories with significant and likely permanent bodily harm. (7/10)

I didn't have the Laura/Audra confusion, if that matters, but the two names probably are too similar to be used in the same story. Very realistic and gritty; not much sex. I probably would've used the 'real' and 'rated R' codes, but that's nitpicking. Definitely something different for this site, and I wouldn't mind seeing some more of it. Good technically (spelling, punctuation, grammar). Edit: Hey, I just 'got' the title — it refers to the rapist, not the victim. Clever. (9/10)

Wow! Actually I want more of this story, since it doesn't feel like the end but the start of a saga. I noticed one problem in editing in that Laura turned into 'Audra' at the end. But other than that, the violence + rape was raw, but didn't suffer the fate a lot of these stories do, which is to transform the victim into an object and thus make it as interesting as reading about someone taking a mallet to a Barbie. Kudos, but please, please write the next chapter? I really hope Laura makes it, if with scars. This could be the start of a complex revenge drama? @_@ And I'll be looking for any other work you did. :D (10/10)

- Thank you! I'm glad you liked this story. The images were very real in my head and I did my best to put them down on screen that way. I've read a lot on this site and it does seem like the women often end up seeming like caricatures or toys and I tried to avoid that with Audra.
Audra and Laura actually are two different people. I didn't realize that it could seem like they were the same person, but looking back on my story I see how that could happen. Laura was Phillip's girlfriend that broke up with him, and the reason he was angry. Audra was the poor woman who just happened to blow him off in outside an elevator while having a very bad day. He couldn't exactly go after Laura, as it would have been obvious that he was the one who did it, but he could go after Audra because she didn't know him, so all of his anger ended up going out on her. I've been thinking of writing what happens next and if I do I'll try to make all of that more clear. Stay tuned. I always like to get reviews, so again, thank you!
