Most excellent recounting of an event in Jenny's life. Although I must add that there seems to be paid less attention to the train of thought and musings of the parties involved -especially Jenny- than what I'm used of from the Mackster. But that lack is compensated through vivid descriptions of what's going on outside her head. Very good writing. By the way, I just came across my review on a story by Zen Monkey. Since a Maki is also a monkey, I was wondering if both Zens are one. In that respect, a rewriting of "Zens And Zensibilities" suggests itself... And hey!, isn't becoming one the purpose of going Zen?
